Position Overview

The Companion Sitter is a member of the home care team who provides household support, supervision, companionship, and client-centered activities that help the client remain safely in the home. This role includes observing the client’s condition, reporting concerns to the Director or Service Supervisor, and engaging the client in activities that are meaningful to them.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to read, write, follow verbal and written instructions, and document services provided
• Must have a minimum of 6 to 12 months of satisfactory work experience
• Must be self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
• Must provide at least two satisfactory references from previous employers
• Must comply with all agency policies
